HOW CAN I CONTACT DEO HIRE?

We’ve got a fair few ways for you to get in touch with us if you have any questions.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RATES?
We’ve never wanted to be the biggest hire company, just the best! We believe in no hidden extra pricing. Our rates include a few other services that we reckon are really useful. We’ll always include GST and basic damage waiver in our rates, as well as little extras we think make your job easy. Where there are optional items or additional charges we’ll make sure these are well understood before you hire. It's these additional services that set us apart and are why our customers continue to hire from us – and why you should too!
WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE A PROBLEM OR FAULT?

WHAT IF I HAVEN'T USED THE EQUIPMENT BEFORE?
No problem, we’ll show you how to operate the equipment and provide all the necessary guides to help you feel confident. It is our duty of care to provide the best and safest equipment, however it is your responsibility to operate it safely.
For more complex equipment, we will provide a labour at a rate.
WHAT IF I CAN'T RETURN THE EQUIPMENT ON TIME?
Get in touch with us as soon as possible, we'll be able to help you out. Even if we have another booking we’ll do our best to allow you to keep the item to get your job done.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR HIRE?
We accept cash (in store only) and credit. You pay us as you reserve your equipment, this acts as a deposit and makes it easier when you return our equipment.
Account customers use our invoice system, based on your payment terms. These are available on your credit application.
HOW DO YOU CALCULATE DELIVERY?
Delivery is calculated based on the type of transport required to move your item. For example an item we can load onto a ute is cheaper than an item requiring a truck. Distance is calculated from the delivery address to our office.
WHAT FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION DO YOU TAKE?
All of the hire’s are completed with a driver’s license and vehicle registration, although we do have other options to make things as easy as possible. Identification is just to make sure our equipment is in safe hands. If you are unsure about your identification documents then please call our office.

National passport of any nation.
NOTES
All identification must be in the same name and match the person signing for the hire
A current Driver’s Licence must be provided for ANY trailer or vehicle hire (including Mobile Hydraulic Platforms, Air Compressors, etc.) and applies to account customers as well
All identification must be current at the time of hire
HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM?
Simply drive into the yard with our equipment and our team should be there to meet you. If we’re busy, come into the office and we’ll start the process from there. We’ll give you a hand taking the gear out of your vehicle and popping it aside, and then take you inside to finalise the contract or one of our staff can collect the equipment from your location.
HOW DO I REQUEST A PICK UP?
It’s easy, give us a call and request a pick-up. Our vehicle will then be out to collect the equipment, usually the same day.
Please ensure there is a safe area where our driver can load our equipment and complete the paperwork. If any dismantling is required, ensure the equipment is dismantled and ready for pickup, otherwise the hire (and hire charge) will continue.
Our drivers are pretty busy, and it really helps when you’ve got everything ready for them to transport.
